Slumdog millionaire is a critically acclaimed breathlessly exciting British Drama Film which is an adaptation of the novel Q & A, directed by Danny Boyle, co-directed by Loveleen Tandon.

Set amidst the slums of Mumbai, the story is about Jamal (the slumdog) who is a contestant in the show “Who wants to be a millionaire?” is accused of cheating by the police. The melodramatic direction brings about the transition from childhood to the teenage. It has got tragic moments of its own which necessarily includes poverty, orphans, crime, prostitution and not to forget torture by the police, definitely relating to the present Indian Scenario. The back ground score is awesome, hats off to A. R. Rahman’s musical direction.

And romance?? What to say, the romance between Jamal and Latika is unique in its own sense. The only thing which can be said it was “kismat connection”, after all no one could keep them apart, even after Jamal had lost contact with Latika.
Star cast includes, Dev Patel as Jamal Mallik, Freida Pinto as Latika, Madhur Mittal as Salim, others include Anil Kapoor as the game show host and Irfan Khan as Police Inspector.

Leaving apart the controversies attached to the movie, the response to the movie is overwhelming all over the world, especially after it has been awarded Golden Globe Award in various categories, taking Indian cinema to the International platform.

Guys its definitely a movie worth watching!!!

At the end I would like to say, the concept of “The three musketeers” was just like icing on the top of the cake!!!

Lets wait and watch for the number of award it grabs in the Oscars!!!

The movie was awesome, my heart was full after watching it. The cast was superb. A. R. Rahman’s music score is a treat for the soul. I have been listening to the Slumdog sound tracks over n over again. The movie is really unique in every way. From the way the story is told to showing 3 phases from the protagonist’s life! Although the movie has a great start, it gets sloppy in the middle and has an average ending.
