For all the lovers of HARRY POTTER here comes some special and exciting news as the next Harry Potter in the pipeline—Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince based on the novel by J. K. Rowling will be hitting the theatres in July 2009. This is the sixth film in the blockbusting Harry Potter series. David Yates is returning as the director of this film after his direction in the fifth film, Harry Potter and The Order of Phoenix. Being an ardent Harry Potter fan myself I would like to inform you that Harry will be back with all his marvelous & thrilling adventures.
As Harry Potter begins his 6th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he gets to enfold many deep dark secrets regarding his enemy Voldemort. The battle between the good and the evil becomes more intense and the students no longer find themselves secure even within the Hogwarts castle. Harry’s romantic life takes a dramatic turn when he finds himself more and more attracted to Ginny Weasley, Harry’s best friend’s sister. All the way Professor Dumbledore assists Harry for the preparation of the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Thus Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected, unsuspecting and reliable Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes to hold very essential and crucial information.
David Yates with Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint & Bonnie Wright
Thus lets all hope David Yates brings to us another mesmerizing fantasy adventure.

Really hope yates does a good job.I personally like the books better(and this is true for almost every film adaptation of a book) but hope the film succeed in portraying as much “magic” as possible as the book does.
Waiting for the film as it is the only thing one can wait for in a harry potter franchise(except the fan’s series).
