Well, this post goes to not only the people, specifically Indians who are keen to get their match-box sized, sweet, lovely dream to have their own (3+1) sized hatchback in their attached-to-main-gate pump room sized garage and fulfill their (+/-) 500 km monthly hassled drive added with the weekend hangouts with earnest want of fuel economy and highest power…

…..  it goes to those young group of guys n gals, freaking out here and there in shopping malls and restaurants, pubs and fiestas and having a good taste of cars and drives, with interest from torque, traction to drag and drift.

Yes, I’m talking about the recent Huindai i10(1.1 lt) irde engine and its recently upgraded version the i10 Kappa,1.2 lts engine.

The specific, lucrative and incredible features loaded in this new vehicle is really a package wanted by all of us :

  • Aluminium block DOHC inline 4-cylinder petrol engine, 16 valve engine: giving power80PS@5200rpm  (13ps more than the 1.1 lt engine) and torque11Nm@4000rpm
  • Specific fuel output  @66.66 ps/lt
  • Milage:18-20 Kms/Lt
  • It maintains the EURO V norms of auto emission emitting 119 gm of CO2/km, which is the lowest in its class
  • power to weight ratio 77.55
  • 0-100 Kmph in 19.6 secs
  • It also introduces the 4-speed automatic transmission wooing the customers in metro cities, who have to deal the rush hour traffic every day for an extra Rs.50,000

Price range:

  • 3.99 lakh(Ex-showroom,Delhi) i10Magna,5-speed manual
  • 5.43 lakh(Ex-showroom,Delhi) i10Asta
  • i10 Lite,i10 Erai10 Magna-o and Some sportz mode(as per order)

Features:

  • Sunroof
  • ABS
  • Dual front airbags
  • 2 DIN audio systems

Seats:

  • Dual tone bucket type

So, won’t all these being some basic features and some additional features like power steering, power windows, central locking and parking sensor give i10 an edge over its contemporaries? It will surely, and that’s what made it win the Car of the year award.

So just fo ahead and grab your ‘car of the year’!!

Can you just explain how this extra amount of money is being saved everyday??

Well Mr.Sayak, letme describe in the simplest possible way…
An automatic transmission works with the aid of a TORQUE CONVERTER which is attached to the flywheelof engine.
The whole unit works in ‘oil bath’ reducing the need of clutch, using turbine, pump and stator.
Since it works in oil bath,it uses velocity of fluid obtained as kinetic energy converted from mechanical energy of engine.
In a nutshell advantages are:
1.Most importantly,High TORQUE obtained
2.Vibration damped
3.Transmission shocks eliminated
4.Engine Stalling eliminated
5.Minimum frictional loss
6.Torque available as per requirement

Money saving aspects:

less friction
less vibration
so parts replacement needed is minimum

again gear shifting eliminated:
so fuel consumption decreases….

and most importantly easy, flexible and comfortable drive….Saves your valuable time
and ofcourse time=money…..
